Referee Allocation Information For Coaches

The league will appoint referees for as many games as possible. At the start of the season priority will be given to U14 matches and cup games. As the season progresses we will look at how we allocate officials and adjust things accordingly. We aim to appoint referees 8 weeks ahead of fixtures where possible.

Coaches will receive an email from full-time when the official has been appointed and then again 14 days & 7 days prior to the fixture. It is down to the home coach to contact the match official on the details provided no later than the Wednesday prior to a weekend fixture. The coach must confirm the location and time of kick off, along with how the referee wishes to be paid. The referee will then confirm the fee including mileage  to be paid. If cash then this should be paid prior to kick off, if bank transfer then this should be done and confirmed no later than midday the day after the fixture.

Please be aware clubs do not have the option of telling the referee they are not required for the fixture, any queries must go through the league referees appointment officer msnyfl.referee@gmail.com

If your game is postponed for any reason it is the responsibility of the home coach to contact the referee and inform them as early as possible. If a referee arrives at a venue and the game is not fulfilled the full fee will be payable.

Under 10 £20 + 35p per mile travelling

Under 11-12 £25.00 + 35p per mile travelling

Under 13-14 £28 + 35p per mile travelling

Under 15-16 £32 + 35p per mile travelling
